LATER.......
I made it.... it took me 2 hours 35 minutes (exactly what Google maps said it would). It was a challenge, I learned a lot about needing good shoes for this, I also learned that walking on the gravel shoulder is much different than treadmills and cross trainers.
6 am is a wonderful time of day, thought I'd share some picutres that I took along the way. Oh ya, and when my meeting was over, I walked about 2 kms back towards woodstock, before Sandi (my wife) picked me up.... Enjoy the pics.

Doc says I'm good to go! My x-rays show that everything is A-OK! Will get the phsyio thing organized and back to the gym, training for my 18K! I'm there with you!

Hey there Dashing Dave, this is Troy McClain here...the dude you chatted with at Lambton 1. It was really good to hear your story behind this daring dash, and what great reasons to do it. Boy, I think it would be so cool to be apart of the international division of CH, for my wife Karen and I have always had a heart for places 'further away'. Perhaps Karen, my daughter Rachel and I can be a small part in your dash, and hey, maybe even walk a bit with you. AND, we are going to sponser a CH child, HOW COOL!!
