7 am - breakfast!
What a wonderful start to the day, we opened in worship and encouragement and the Word. Bob Beasley spoke to us of walking in Jesus footsteps - using the story of Jesus and the Leper - Do people see Jesus enough in us to want to come running? Do we respond with the same compassion and love that Jesus would? How do we respond to the call to love?
Every time we respond with "YES" we touch another person with the love of Christ
Thank you Dave and Amber for saying YES!
So far we are just a few KM's from Thamesville where we will stop for lunch. It has been a great day and we a looking forward to the afternoon. The rain is trying to come but Dave and Amber are still dry - we will keep you updated on their status along the way.
So our mishap for the day has been - we discovered that the magnetic, flashing light was not meant to stay attached to the roof of the van while driving 90kms an hour. OOPS but our driver, Vicky was able to stay calm and reel it back in the van safely and with no damage to the van and only a slight scuff mark on the light.
We have enjoyed the visitors that have stopped by to day. Bill V. from IT stopped by to do some videotaping and an interview with Dave and Amber along the side of the road.
Also Josh from London 2, along with Kathy and Carmen, came by to share in a snack with Dave and Amber.
A HUGE thanks to all of you. What an encouragement for them to know they are not alone out here on HWY 2.
Your drivers for the day
Cindy and Vicky writing for Dave and Amber
Amber's thoughts - Seeing Josh pull up with that beautiful smile helped me renewed my energy and help refocus my heart. What a blessing to have him stop by.
Dave's thoughts - It has been a fantastic day so far with the fantastic words spoken at the breakfast, no truer words could have been shared. What a great day.
Walking with the rain gear!
And the Blisters continue

Yay! Dave and Amber! I just wanted to let you know that I am tracking your journey. The Dash seems to be going really well in so many ways! It's awesome to think of the ripples that God is creating here that will extend around the world. I'm in Alberta praying for you!
